Hills Appoints Kathryn E. Coffey as Head of its Corporate Finance
Group
San Francisco, California July 13, 2004—Seven Hills Group
LLC announced today that Kathryn E. Coffey has joined the firm
as a Partner and Head of its Corporate Finance Group. In
this capacity, Ms. Coffey will oversee private placements,
registered direct placements, and PIPE offerings managed by
Seven Hills on behalf of its clients.

my 20 years of financing and M&A experience to a terrific

Ms. Coffey comes to Seven Hills from FT Ventures, where she
was Managing Director of Business Development. Prior to
joining FT Ventures, Kathy spent five years heading the
Equity Private Placement Group in San Francisco for Deutsche
Bank, where she oversaw private equity transactions for
private and public clients in the technology, health care,
media, and consumer sectors. Previously, she worked in the
Merger & Acquisition groups of Deutsche Bank and Merrill
Lynch & Co. Kathy received a BA in Economics from Wellesley
College and an MBA from The Darden School at the University
of Virginia.
In addition to Ms. Coffey, Seven Hills also announced the
hiring of two corporate finance analysts, Nate Hennings and
Peter Stosich, as it continues to expand its business.
